We impose no “asset minimums” on our clients. Our goal is to help as many people as possible avoid the pitfalls of investing. We charge a simple 1 percent of assets under management annually and start reducing that fee once your account value hits $500,000.
How does our fee compare to what you would pay someone else?
It’s not always easy to figure out exactly what you’re paying to another broker or advisor. They may even say you’re not paying anything, but that’s not accurate. Did you know:
Brokerage firms and insurance agents receive commissions for recommending certain funds, but that expense is built into the fees you pay.
Other hidden fees are common, but their explanations get buried in a thick disclosure document. Common names for these hidden fees are wrap fees, loads, mortality and expense fees, 12b-1 fees, trading fees, and annual operating expenses.
All these fees can add up quickly and eat away at your investment return, without you knowing it.
